Munch
MartyMunch – Munch
Munch has been gaming since Nintendo was 8 bit. His roots go back to the original Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt game cartridge. Who else had those orange guns? This along with Dragon Warrior and the original Legend of Zelda put Munch on a path to becoming one of the world’s biggest vidiots (video game idiot, his mom coined this term back in 1989). It’s still true today. :D
He grew and so did his passion for gaming. From Super Nintendo, Mario Kart, N64, StarCraft, Play Station, Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Gran Turismo, Game Cube, House of the Dead, Play Station 2, Twisted Metal, Wii and Mario Party with his kids, Play Station 4, Fallout 4 and now primarily only PC gaming with Modded Minecraft, Modded 7 Days to Die and several other titles. He even used to play WoW. FOR THE HOARDE!
Fast forward to 2022. Munch, with the help of two of his close gaming friends, wants to do something more. He knows that with their combined efforts they can create a gaming community that can grow and build together. The intention is to create a stable network that provides a safe and stable environment for people to play games together.
Munch mostly enjoys building and sandbox games the most. There are two very large projects in the works that will hopefully be able to be fielded in 2023. Building is the passion yet Munch does like to shoot at stuff. He is not into PvP or games like Overwatch and Apex, but he did play Fortnight for three or four seasons. Overall Munch would like to make something cool for others to see and use. He likes to learn game mechanics and build crazy contraptions in Modded Minecraft and 7 Days to Die. Stay tuned for some awesome building.
Munch used to stream and would like to get back into that endeavor. Due to unforeseen circumstances in his personal life he was forced to subside for now. This may change in the very near future. Until then, keep building cool stuff and by all means, if you see him online, ask him to visit you in game and go visit him. He is very likely willing to help you if you need it. The best way to learn to build is to look at what others have done before you. Also – Google image search. ; )
Resq
ResqDiver1317, aka Resq (pronounced like Rescue) started gaming back in the days of monochrome monitors, Commodore 64s, and the original Atari. (yea, he's kinda old) His earliest memory of gaming is from Kindergarten when he came home and discovered his father had sold his 4 color CGA monitor to the local golf course and bought a new 16 color EGA monitor but had not set it up yet (some of you older folks may remember going from CGA to EGA or EGA to VGA also meant changing the video card in the computer). Not wanting to wait for his dad to get off work to do this, he found a screw driver, opened the computer, figured out what card needed removed and put the new card in, fired it back up and installed the EGA drivers. When his dad got home from work and came to set up the new monitor, he walked in the room to see Resq sitting there playing Oregon Trail on the new 16 color monitor. (case still removed from the computer because why waste the time putting it back together when it would work as is to play games).
Over the years his love of gaming continued to grow and his equipment continued to improve. In more recent years, he has been involved in multiple gaming communities for several different games and in addition to being one of the founding members/owners of Third Peril, he also co-owns and runs a FiveM roleplay community. Minecraft has been a game that he enjoys playing a lot and through that, he met the other two founders, Munch and Lost, and was all in for the chance to form a new community that can grow and expand into not just Minecraft, but other games as well, hence, Third Peril was born.
In addition to playing Minecraft, he also enjoys playing FiveM, PUBG, Ready or Not, as well as several other games with his kids, wife, and many friends he has made along the way in years of gaming.
